European multi-carrier shipping platform LetMeShip is making a fast start to 2022 by expanding operations in the Netherlands, Austria and Spain, and offering FedEx Express services in all its seven markets.

The Hamburg-based company, which topped the mark of 100 employees in mid-2021 after rapid growth in the last few years, has now opened additional offices in Tiel (Netherlands) and Madrid (Spain).

In addition, LetMeShip plans to open an office in Belgium soon as the next step in its European expansion. In addition to the Hamburg head office, the German company already has branches in France, Switzerland and Austria.

Local presence and market expertise

This geographical presence enables the shipping portal to advise its customers with local expertise and provide them with optimised support for their shipping requirements. “Personal contact is a top priority at LetMeShip and is highly valued by customers,” the company stressed.

With demand for shipping remaining very high, LetMeShip can offer its customers an extensive service portfolio and very good shipping rates, taking advantage of long-term partnerships with leading international shipping service providers.

Mark Winkelmann, Managing Director LetMeShip, said: “In the past 1.5 years, many things have developed at LetMeShip. We are celebrating our 100th employee in July 2021, which has allowed us to further strengthen various business units internally.

“The expansion of our locations is very important to us in order to be present locally, but also to be able to respond to the different markets in a more targeted way. You have to know the market and your target group very well in order to offer them the right solutions,” he stressed.

International expansion of services with FedEx Express

Meanwhile, LetMeShip has expanded its carrier portfolio by incorporating FedEx Express services in all its seven European markets. The shipping portal offers a wide range of shipping services, from documents and parcels to express and pallet shipping.

In France and Germany, LetMeShip can now also offer third-country shipping. This way, internationally operating companies always have their supply chains under control.

Thomas Horst, COO LetMeShip, added: “As one of the European market leaders in shipping platforms, it is important for us to provide our customers with uncomplicated access to the leading express logistics providers across countries. With the addition of the entire FedEx Express portfolio, we are well positioned internationally, especially for standard and express shipments.”

In terms of shipping technology, the company offers a unique range of functions to harmonise decentralised shipping processes, reduce costs and save time. Customers can use the web application (DIRECT) or the web service API (CONNECT) for integration into an existing IT structure. Additional functions include proactive tracking, an online shipping archive, business intelligence reporting and customs clearance, as well as personal customer service.
