LetMeShip enters seventh international market with Belgium launch

Multi-carrier shipping provider LetMeShip has launched in Belgium to continue its international expansion amid strong organic growth.

LetMeShip Belgium (www.letmeship.be), based in Brussels, initially offers shipping products of DHL, DPD, TNT and UPS. Gürkan Taskiran, previously Head of Customer Service for LetMeShip France, is responsible for the Netherlands and Belgium operations.

Hamburg-based ITA Shipping, which offers shipping services for medium-sized and large business customers through the LetMeShip software solution, is now active in seven international markets: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Belgium and Hong Kong. A new France office was opened in Nantes last year.

Mark Winkelmann, managing director and founder of ITA Shipping GmbH, explained that LetMeShip, founded in 2000, has focused on gradual international expansion after building up a solid position in its home German market. The business has achieved consistent double-digit growth in recent years and expanded its workforce to more than 50 logistics experts.  

"Organic and sustainable growth is extremely important to us. We only enter markets where we know our way around and where we can develop in the long term. We are expanding sustainably with sense and understanding," he said.

With the LetMeShip shipping software, ITA Shipping has set itself the task of standardizing multi-carrier shipping processes in companies and offering shippers the possibility of managing all CEP service providers within one system, thus reducing shipping and administrative costs. The shipping software LetMeShip, covering a total of 23 delivery companies in different countries, can be used as an online platform or as an interface (API).
