UPS to buy Andlauer Healthcare for US$1.6bn

UPS is making another big investment in healthcare logistics with the agreed acquisition of highly profitable Canadian supply chain company Andlauer Healthcare Group (AHG) for C$2.2 billion (US$1.6 billion).

The deal is the latest M&A move to expand UPS Healthcare following the acquisitions of Italy’s Bomi Group, New Zealand-based Cedra Express, French firm Transports Chabas Santé, US firm MNX and Germany’s Frigo-Trans over the past three years.
