Aramex CEO resigns after takeover

Aramex CEO Othman Al-Jeda has resigned just weeks after Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund ADQ acquired a majority stake in the Middle East-based express operator.

The Dubai-based company announced yesterday (April 23) that Al-Jeda, who has held the post since 2021, was resigning for personal reasons and that the board had appointed CFO Nicolas Sibuet as Acting Group CEO as of today.
