Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), a group unit of Swiss Post, has acquired the Irish marketing firmFMC Insights Ltd with immediate effect to expand its service portfolio in the customer retention
segments in the UK. The acquisition price was not disclosed.Operating under the name “20-20 Insights”, FMC Insights is specialised in IT-based marketingsolutions in the area of customer retention (loyalty marketing). So far, SPS has already completeda number of different projects with 20-20. It will be fully integrated into the SPS Global Servicesdivision, Swiss Post stressed.
Based in Dublin, 20-20 has made a name for itself on the international level in just a shorttime with its customer retention software. It has a strong customer base in the retail sector andconsumer goods market in Ireland and the UK.
Through the acquisition, SPS will take over the company’s software and thus increase itscompetitiveness in the customer retention segment in the key UK market.
Considering an optimised relationship management with customers in the highly competitive marketvery important, Swiss Post supports them with bonus programmes, customer cards, coupons andcompetitions to turn occasional buyers into loyal customers.
In addition, SPS offers other solutions for optimising the relationship between businesscustomers and their end customers in the fields of billing & payment, e-commerce, documentoutput, customer relationship management (CRM) and value and security cards.
