Finland Post Acquires Roadlink in Sweden

Finland Post is strengthening its Nordic transport network with the acquisition of Swedishlogistics company Roadlink Spedition AB. The move gives Finland Post Logistics a stronger presence

in Scandinavia and access to a European network of transport partners.

Roadlink, with 50 staff, has annual sales of 25 million euros, and four terminals based inStockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg and Jönköping. It carries 100,000 shipments a year via its own networkand those operated by over 30 partners across Europe. Its strongest markets are Germany andItaly.

The corporate acquisition will expand the logistics service network of Finland Post Logisticsmarkedly in its home markets in the Nordic and Baltic countries and Russia, strengthening FinlandPost’s position as one of the leading logistics operators in Northern Europe. Last summer, theworldwide network of the Danish Combifragt Group A/S was combined with Finland Post’s transportnetwork.

Finalisation of the transaction is subject to approval by competition authorities in Sweden.Finland Post Logistics has net turnover of EUR 470 million and employs a staff of 1,300 in sevencountries.
