Posti has revealed that its net sales and operating profits declined in the first quarter of the year despite increased parcel volumes, as challenging market conditions and low demand for B2B and freight services hit the Finnish postal operator’s bottom line.

In Q1 2025, net sales decreased by 6.5% to €357.1 million, while operating profit decreased to €5 million, down from €18.1 million in Q1 2024. Posti noted that the results were “as expected” and is predicting that market uncertainty will continue into the second quarter.
