Sakari Kiiskinen heads Posti logistics subsidiary Transval

Sakari Kiiskinen has been appointed as SVP of Posti’s logistics subsidiary Transval and a member of Posti Group’s leadership team as of September 1, 2020.

The 46-year-old has worked as interim Head of the Transval business group since May 1, 2020. He has held various management positions at Transval for more than 10 years and served as Deputy Managing Director from 2017.

Posti acquired the 3PL contract logistics company, which specialises in ‘in-house logistics’ for customers wanting to outsource these operations, in January 2019.

“Sakari Kiiskinen’s expertise and long experience working at Transval were important factors in the selection process. His customer-oriented approach and ability to work closely together with Transval personnel will be valuable when he and his team will continue developing Transval further. I am very pleased that we will get Sakari to lead Transval,” says Turkka Kuusisto, President and CEO of Posti Group.
