GEODIS today announced it has opened a new 5,000 sqm distribution depot in Saint-Priest to the south of Lyon.
With a surface area of 5,000 sqm and 100 docking bays, the site employs 27 workers and can ship and receive 1,200 parcels and pallets a day. The new site boosts the group's presence in the Rhône department by increasing its total ‘parcel-transport’ warehouse surface area to 46,000 sqm.
With the new depot, opened in late September, GEODIS is better equipped than ever to respond to the growing needs of its customers in the Rhône department. The Saint-Priest facility, the Group's third in the department, clearly strengthens GEODIS' ability to service the region significantly.
