Experts put spotlight on Asia Pacific growth opportunities

More than 200 postal and parcel experts will gather at ‘Leaders in Logistics: Post & Parcel APAC 2019’ next week to learn about growth opportunities and overcoming challenges in Asia Pacific as the region’s e-commerce market continues to boom.

This year’s conference, taking place in Singapore on November 5-6, will bring together global leaders from across post and logistics, uniting integrators, commercial and postal operators. Under the heading ‘Innovation in post and parcel delivery’, more than 30 speakers will address key challenges facing the industry, offer key insights and explain solutions for the future.

Gathering together national posts, as well as exciting regional operators, start-ups and last mile providers, this is the conference to discover the realities of the industry in the region and discover the unique challenges and opportunities in operations, according to conference organisers Marketforce.

Among the speakers, SingPost, Canada Post, FedEx, Austrian Post and China’s YTO Express will share how they are innovating in operations and adapting for the skyrocketing growth of e-commerce, while Asendia and Royal Mail will discuss e-commerce trends.

With case study presentations from Royale International Group, UPS, Fetchr and GoGoVan covering last mile deliveries, technology and sustainability, there will be proven examples of how to overcome challenges in logistics. DHL and Cambodia Post will explain how to build partnerships throughout the APAC region (and beyond) while India Post will explain how it is making deliveries to people in the remotest of communities.
