DHL Express Russia and eBay have signed a new partnership to support Russian retailers exporting their goods and help them make delivery to overseas customers easier, faster and more profitable.
As part of the partnership, DHL Express logistics services are integrated into the seller’s personal account on eBaymag.com platform, which is a special service for exporters from Russia and Eastern Europe. Russian exporting retailers on eBay also benefit from special terms for the delivery of goods to 220 countries within the shortest possible time: 1-2 days to Europe, 2-3 days to the USA, China and Australia.
The service enables retailers to post goods simultaneously on eight eBay websites in different countries in a matter of minutes. All the information on goods is automatically translated into ten languages and the prices are set in the local currency.
According to research by DHL Express, about 20% of exporting retailers from Russia and Emerging Europe used the option of express delivery on the eBay platform at least once last year and 11% regularly use this option. In Russia, the figures are 17% and 10% respectively. At the same time, introducing express delivery option might increase the average basket value by 70%.
