Ceva Logistics, formerly belonging to TNT, has announced new consumer deals with Nestlé andPerfumery Douglas in Italy.
The company will be picking up Nestlé products from its distribution centres in Albairate,San Sepolero and San Sisto to more than 60,000 sales points in the country.
Ceva has 13 transit platforms in Italy, with 12,000 sqm of temperature-controlled warehousespace, and offers delivery date invoicing.
The rebranded operator has also signed an agreement for retail delivery with PerfumeryDouglas, which will involve sorting and distribution to hundreds of stores.
Speaking about the Nestlé contract, Ceva Italy managing director Gianfranco Sgro commented: “The renewal of this contract is a pay-off for the work carried out over the last few years by Cevain supporting the growth of Nestlé and for the innovative solution for supply chain management…devised to meet its requirements.”
