Bringg, a data-led delivery and fulfilment cloud platform provider, has updated its Bringg on Salesforce service (formerly Zenkraft), a comprehensive delivery and fulfilment solution on the Salesforce AppExchange, to help retailers optimise their last mile operations.

With Bringg’s recent acquisition of Zenkraft, a parcel delivery and returns solution on Salesforce, the Bringg offering now provides a cross-cloud last-mile delivery model to Salesforce customers and gives full visibility and control, including parcel shipping, same-day delivery, post-purchase tracking, and returns.

The Salesforce AppExchange is a leading enterprise cloud marketplace, which connects customers of all sizes and across industries with ready-to-install or customizable apps. It has more than 7,000 listings, 10 million customer installs and 117,000 peer reviews.

Meanwhile, Bringg helps enterprises scale up and optimise their last mile operations with data-led fulfilment and delivery orchestration SaaS technology. Using Bringg, retailers and logistics providers can rapidly enable innovative delivery and fulfilment models. Bringg’s platform is used in more than 50 countries around the world.

Tracking and same-day delivery

According to recent last mile operations research by Bringg, out of 200 logistics and transportation leaders from across North America and Europe, tracking and visibility was extremely important. In the survey, 87% of respondents said that they are implementing or planning to implement real-time visibility by 2024 to help grow delivery volumes, with that number climbing to 90% for automated dispatch and routing.

Meanwhile, 27% of logistics providers said that offering returns and pickup services is one of their top strategies for increasing business through last mile operations – compared to only 5% of respondents in Bringg’s 2021 logistics report.

Furthermore, the 2022 Bringg Barometer: State of Retail Delivery & Fulfillment, which was released in January, found that 99% of respondents will be doing same-day delivery within the next three years, compared to 35% able to do so today.

Customizing delivery

To help retailers meet rapidly rising delivery expectations as highlighted by the figures above, Bringg on Salesforce enables them to quickly and easily set up a variety of delivery, pickup, and returns options for the end consumer both pre and post purchase. In addition, retailers gain the operational agility to differentiate their brands by customizing their delivery operations and branded customer experiences at speed and scale.

Furthermore, with access to hundreds of third-party delivery providers, retailers can orchestrate efficient delivery operations across multiple delivery providers, on their terms by defining their own business rules. According to Bringg, this smart orchestration capability enables retailers to meet growing order demand, accelerating business growth and profitability.

Other key capabilities of the Bringg on Salesforce solution include branded shopper experience with full transparency throughout the order fulfilment process; a smart integrated console for store, warehouse, and service staff, giving them a view of arrival times for both customer collections and pick-ups from 3PL delivery providers; and automated returns management with label generation and real-time tracking and status updates.

"Connected ecosystem”

“We are thrilled to expand Bringg’s capabilities into the Salesforce ecosystem, with a last-mile component spanning any delivery model. Retailers can now deliver enhanced delivery and pick-up experiences to online shoppers, with high speed and scale at the lowest cost,” said Guy Bloch, CEO at Bringg.

“Providing trusted and meaningful consumer shopping and delivery experiences requires an intelligently connected ecosystem. With Bringg on Salesforce being natively available on the Salesforce platform, retailers will now have the freedom and agility to extend the application to support their unique business needs – independently or with the support of the Salesforce partner ecosystem – offering end consumers an unparalleled customer experience,” Bloch added.

“We are excited that Bringg on SalesForce (formerly Zenkraft) is continuing to innovate on AppExchange as they make delivery and fulfilment models easily accessible, usable, and valuable to retailers,” added Woodson Martin, GM of the Salesforce AppExchange. “AppExchange is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers, and we love watching our partners evolve alongside us.”
