DPD France has signed an agreement with PrestaShop, the European leader of ‘open source’ e-commerce software solutions, as part of which DPD is now listed among PrestaShop’s recommended transport providers.
Helping retailers to create and manage their online presence, PrestaShop cooperates with 250,000 e-retailers, with DPD France now being available in their back-offices as a new transport module.

With its expertise in parcel delivery (more than 59 million parcels delivered in 2014), DPD France offers e-tailers with PrestaShop its three main solutions for parcel shops, home delivery and businesses: DPD Classic and DPD Classic Intercontinental, DPD Predict and DPD Relays.
DPD Classic is destined for B2B deliveries in France within 24-48 hours, to Europe (32 destinations) within 48-96 hours and overseas (over 200 destinations) in 2-8 days, including detailed online tracking service. DPD Predict gives customers more freedom as they can select the day and the delivery time slot conveniently via SMS or www.dpd.fr.
DPD Relays offers recipients a flexible delivery solution enabling them to pick up their parcels at one of the 5,000 Pickup parcel shops located within 15 minutes of 95% of the French population. The shops are selected based on the geographic location, opening hours (100% of the shops open on Saturdays and nearly 50% on Sunday) and their storage capacity, with the possibility to have the parcel stored there up to 9 days.

Established in France 20 years ago, DPD (formerly Exapaq) has 56 branches and 6 national sorting centres in the country run by 1,800 staff who ensure the delivery of over 240,000 parcels all over France daily.
