FedEx Express France has launched two complete B2B and e-commerce service portfolios for parcelsweighing up to 800 kg following last year’s acquisition of Tatex, which has been operating under
the FedEx Express France name since March.Targeting small and medium-sized enterprises in particular, the new B2B domestic portfolioincludes the FedEx Optimum, FedEx Nuit, FedEx Programme and FedEx Feedback products. FedEx Optimumoffers business customers next-day delivery within France before 13.00 while FedEx Nuit providesovernight transport with early-morning delivery. FedEx Programme offers delivery the next day witha pre-defined time window and FedEx Feedback provides next-day delivery with off-site collection.
The separate e-commerce product range provides home delivery with several different options.FedEx@Home delivers according to an appointment made by the recipient via a particular website.FedEx@Home Express offers next-day delivery before 14.00 and determines a delivery appointment incase of a recipient’s absence during delivery. The third option FedEx@Home Duo comprises a deliveryappointment at a place chosen by the customer and includes the options of carrying the shipmentinto the home or other location, unpacking and taking back the packaging.
With these two product portfolios, FedEx Express France said it was adding value to itsexisting service range and responding to customer requirements in terms of their international,European and domestic shipments, whether for small packages or heavy freight.

Thanks to the acquition of Tatex in July 2012 and to the company’s organic growth in Francesince October 2011, FedEx Express has extended its domestic delivery fleet to 140 vehicles and thetotal number of its employees in the country to over 4,000. The group has a nationwide network of67 depots, two hubs with a total area of over 120,000 sqm, and an air fleet of 35 aircraft based inFrance.
