Thailand Post has expanded its international large parcel service to 25 more countries aroundthe world to step up its foreign business.
The Logispost World service, offering delivery of bulk items weighing between 20kgs and 200kgs,was previously only available to seven countries.
Destinations now include Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Japan,Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, France, Switzerland, UK, USA and New Zealand.
Delivery is made within 7-10 days and items can be tracked on the postal operator’s website,according to Thai newspapers.
Thai Post’s marketing communication director, Parisa Pananon, told the Bangkok Post that the newservice targeted exporters and shipments would be sent on 30 outbound international flights. Keydestinations are Australia, China, Japan, the USA and the UK.
