UPS has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian postal operator PT PosIndonesia (Persero) to provide international express mail delivery profiting from the company’s
extensive domestic network in terms of market penetration.Operating through its joint venture PT UPS Cardig International, UPS now ships internationalexpress mail and parcels for Pos Indonesia’s customers to USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea,Australia and Japan. Through the partnership, Pos Indonesia will profit from UPS’ day-definiteservice, a service guarantee and will leverage on its shipping technology. Customers will also beable to check the delivery status of their shipments via UPS’ tracking system.
