DHL Parcel Germany turned out to be the preferred shipping provider for German online tradersdoing business on eBay, the global online market place, according to eBay’s Online Business
Barometer.The recently published survey revealed that DHL Parcel has been voted the clear leader among thedelivery providers. As many as 70% of the businesses polled use the services of DHL Deutsche Post.In particular, the speed and the reliability of the shipping provider were evaluated as positivefactors by 88% and 83% of online traders respectively.
DHL pointed out that reliable logistics is a highly important factor for online trade. IngoBohlken, Chief Marketing Officer MAIL and DHL Parcel Germany, commented: “We make it as simple aspossible for the shippers and recipients – this is our main strength. We know exactly what ourcustomers need: high quality, easy handling, quick delivery and nationwide service.”
The Business Online Barometer is based on an online survey of 859 retailers generating more thanhalf of their revenues through eBay as their sales platform. It was conducted in the time period1-22 September 2010 by the market research institute FreshMinds in London, DHL added.
