Blue Dart Express, the DHL Indian domestic express subsidiary, has continued to show a strongrecovery this year with a near-25% rise in revenues in the third quarter of 2010 and a parallel
rise in profits.The company increased July-September 2010 operating revenues by 24.65% to Rs 2,937 million(€47.8 million) while its net profit improved by 27% to Rs 209.85 Mn (€3.4 million).
Over the first nine months of 2010, the domestic express market leader increased revenues by 27%to Rs 8,285 million (€135 million). Its net profit soared 78% to Rs 704 million (€11.5million).
In 2009, the DHL Express subsidiary reported revenues of Rs 9,074 million (€143.3 million), down7.9% from Rs 9,794 million in 2008. Its net profits declined by 27.3% to Rs 607 million (€9.6million).
