DHL Supply Chain launches standardised warehouse management system

DHL Supply Chain has introduced a standardised warehouse management system across its operationsworldwide to further improve accuracy and individual product availability for its customers.

For the implementation of the new system, DHL is cooperating with RedPrairie Corporation, aglobal supply chain and retail technology provider. It will deliver the Warehouse Management System(WMS) and Workforce Management (WFM) tools that will help DHL customers improve their servicelevels by providing a more simplified and cost-effective approach to implementing the systems withsupply chain customers. The new deal expands on the initial global framework agreement between thetwo companies.
