PostNL is introducing “MijnPakket” (My Parcel), a new service giving online shoppers greatercontrol and choice for orders that will be delivered by PostNL Parcels.
The new service gives shoppers an overview of all their online purchases and also storesaddress and delivery preferences so they no longer need to fill in those details for every webshopindividually. This makes purchasing online even easier.
MijnPakket gives every online shopper a complete overview of orders that will be delivered byPostNL Parcels, as well as the expected delivery time.
All the shopper needs to do is fill in a profile – just once – giving their various deliverypreferences. Preferred addresses can be the shopper’s home or work address, the next-doorneighbours, or any other address in the Netherlands, but also one of the PostNL’s post offices.Shoppers can also indicate the preferred method of payment for online purchases.
If the shopper selects PostNL Checkout for the webshops that participate in the system, allhis or her personal preferences will automatically be inserted and displayed during the process ofordering. All the shopper then needs to do is indicate when and where the parcel should bedelivered.
PostNL Checkout is now available for every webshop operator. Webshops that utilise theMijnWinkel (My Shop) software already have a link to PostNL Checkout, meaning that they canimmediately have PostNL activate PostNL Checkout.
Every online shopper can create a profile at mijnpakket.nl. Adding an order to the profilewill immediately bring up an overview of all the shopper’s online purchases. Boeties and X-Only arethe first of a growing number of webshops to utilise PostNL Checkout.
