Austrian Post has signed a new contract with German leading shoe manufacturer Gabor Shoes toship annual volumes of 30,000 parcels per year.
Based in Rosenheim, southern Germany, Gabor has been manufacturing high-quality ladies’ fashionshoes for more than 60 years. It is now one of the best-known shoe brands in Germany and has alsoestablished itself across Europe and abroad.
“We are pleased to welcome Gabor Shoes as our new customer. Especially our flexibility andquality were the decisive factors in how we could prevail over the competitors in a highlycompetitive domestic market,” Peter Umundum, Austrian Post Executive Board, said.
Over the last few years, Gabor has introduced new technologies and product lines with licensesfor handbags, children shoes and shoe care. Rollingsoft is a new product line for the growthsegment of health and wellbeing.
