Polish mail and parcels firm InPost has sealed a deal to introduce its easyPack parcel terminals onCyprus in its latest European expansion move.
The Mediterranean island will be the fifth European market where the innovative, round theclock service for sending and collecting parcels will be available. So far easyPack machines havebeen introduced to Estonia, Spain and Russia as well as the home market of Poland.
By the end of 2011 InPost’s easyPack terminals are supposed to be accessible in at leasteight European countries and then in every European country within the next three years. Theterminals are due to be introduced in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania by the end of thisyear.
Rafal Brzoska, InPost CEO, said: “We are convinced that the easyPack by InPost service willturn out to be a revolutionary solution, as it proved to be in case of our domestic market.Estonia, Russia, Spain and Cyprus are the first stage of the international offensive of the Group.The assumption of the easyPacks availability throughout Europe in the next three years is becomingmore and more realistic.”
Currently easyPack is the second largest network in the world, and its popularity is steadilygrowing, according to the company.

The group will be presenting the easyPack by InPost service at POST EXPO 2011 in Stuttgartfrom 27-29 September 2011.
