DHL Russia unites the world with one single price for international shipments

DHL Express Russia has launched a new promotional service, offering international delivery ofdocuments up to 1 kg shipped from its Service Points in Russia to anywhere within DHL’s global

network, at a single, fixed price.

Daniel McGrath, Communications Manager, DHL Express Russia, told CEP-Research that the ‘OneWorld, One Envelope, One Price’ promotion for cash / credit card customers would be offeredinitially for a period of three months at a fixed price of RUB 1,500 (€37.60), excluding VAT andfuel surcharges.

“Depending on customer demand, we might extend the promotion by several months, but the decisionwill be made after we see the market response. If the promotional offer is not extended beyond the1st October, we will switch back to our standard offering, whereby the countries are divided intodifferent tariff zones, depending on the distance, volumes, country, and specifications,” headded.

DHL said the price would be attractive for customers, and on some routes, they can save up to40% of the transport costs compared to the rates of other operators, while still getting DHL’sdelivery speed, reliability and quality.

Adrian Marley, Managing Director, DHL Express in the CIS and South East Europe, commented: “OneWorld, One envelope, One price, regardless of the distance, means that customers have a verycompetitive and convenient solution for their documents shipped worldwide. Everything is as easyand understandable as possible and thus fully corresponds to our goal, which is to make ourcustomers’ lives easier. We are confident that customers will appreciate our openness andwillingness to work on their behalf, and respond positively to this offer, which has been designedto support their business over the next three months.”
