DHL Russia guarantees full-fee refund for delays to premium shipments

DHL Express Russia has changed the conditions for refunding the cost of its time-definitepremium services, and is now guaranteeing to return the full price of the transport for its Express

9:00, 10:30 and 12:00 products, in cases where delivery delays are caused by DHL.

Previously, DHL in Russia has compensated only the difference between the tariff for morningdelivery and the one for delivery by the end of the working day, adding that this new full refundservice is currently unique in the Russian express delivery market.
 
DHL highlighted the benefits of time-definite delivery for small and medium-sized businesses.“It allows planning a working day in a flexible way, efficiently handling the supply schedules byensuring that the goods, spare parts, documents, equipment, etc. are delivered at a convenienttime,” the company said.
 
Elena Emeljanova, marketing director for DHL Express Russia, commented: “In recent years, atendency has become obvious of demand shifting from standard delivery by the end of the working daytowards time-definite delivery, preferably in the morning. This applies both for transport withinRussia and delivery of documents and freight abroad.
 
“The need for distribution of equipment components and small quantities of goods according tothe “Just-in-Time” principle is rising with the rapidly changing customer demand. At the same time,the service quality requirements on the part of the end customers have been increasing as well. Thecompetitiveness of a company thus depends to a large extent on its ability to deliver productsquickly and at the agreed time to customers, and priority delivery by 9:00, 10:30 and 12:00 canbecome a significant advantage,” she added.
 
DHL Russia offers customers a range of priority services, with extensive geographicalcoverage both within the country and abroad for its Express 9:00, Express 10:30 and Express 12:00products. For example, delivery by 12:00 is available in more than 90 cities in Russia and morethan 60 international markets.
