The growth expectations in the Alsace region with a historical focus on export are verypromising, according to George Nouvier, Sales Manager Key Accounts. “Our aim is to achieve aturnover of €1 million by the end of the year. This is an ambitious but realistic goal. Thisopening responds to a high demand from local businesses. Many of our clients choosing us for theirnational transport are waiting for this new activity. There are already thousands of potentialcustomers who are interested.”

Previously, the TNT depot in Strasbourg handled the import and export operations of thecustomers in the region around Mulhouse. From now on, businesses and administrations will benefitfrom an optimised express service offered directly on site. This includes later pick-up timesproviding three additional hours for towns and cities such as Mulhouse, Saint-Louis or Cernay, aswell as earlier morning delivery. The new depot responds especially to the needs of sectors such asthe automotive and textile industries.
