Four postal industry operators and suppliers have been recognised for their product and servicequality in this year’s Postal Technology International Awards which were announced on the opening
day of POST-EXPO in Copenhagen yesterday.The Service Provider of the Year award went to Deutsche Post DHL, and the company also won theDelivery Innovation of the Year award for the E-Postbrief, its secure electronic letterservice.
TNT was recognised for its environmental activities with the Environmental Achievement of theYear award.
Siemens gained the overall Supplier of the Year award, while the Automation Technology of theYear award went to Prime Vision/TNT Post.
The winner of the Transport/Logistics Innovation of the Year award was Mercedes Benz for theVito E-Cell vehicle.
This is the second year that the awards, which are designed to recognise innovation andexcellence in the postal industry, have been presented.
