Aramex ties knot with world’s largest online matrimonial service

Aramex has signed a partnership agreement with the world’s largest online matrimonial service,Shaadi.com, to establish a payment collection facility that allows Shaadi.com customers to have

their payments collected by Aramex from any location across the UAE.

Hussein Hachem, the express and logistics operator’s Chief Executive Officer for the Middle Eastand Africa, said the move was part of its ongoing efforts to cater to its customers’ diverse needsand support the evolution of e-commerce in the region.

This partnership also involves UAE Exchange, a global leader in remittance, foreign exchange andother financial services, which offers 72 collection points across the Middle East, allowingShaadi.com customers to make subscription payments over the counter.

Shaadi.com was set up in 1996 as a matchmaking service for single people, primarily from theIndian sub-continent, and claims to have been responsible for more than 1.4 million successfulmarriages.
