TNT Express UAE has opened a new logistics establishment in KidZania, an award-winning,children’s edutainment centre in Dubai, enabling children to get hands-on experience in collectingand distributing documents, parcels and freight.
The TNT branded complex is located in The Dubai Mall and described as a “dedicated city wherechildren work, learn, play”. It allows children to perform a variety of real life distributionduties. Within the new facility, they not only get to carry out the full distribution process, butthey are also trained to handle special services, such as collecting and distributing various typesof materials and handling important time critical deliveries to different locations around the minicity of KidZania.
Sales and Commercial Director for TNT Express UAE, Mark Woodcock, commented: “We are all veryexcited to see TNT take to the floor in KidZania. Everyone who has visited the establishment so farhas been amazed by the pace of the environment and how much children seem to enjoy participating inthe world of work. TNT joins a range of other global brands that make up the mini city, such as HSBC, McDonaldsand Sony, to name a few. With over seventy real-life professions to choose from, children willundoubtedly benefit from learning a whole range of skills, including delivering good service, timekeeping and care, skills fundamental within the express delivery industry, TNT UAE said in astatement.
