German same-day express and emergency logistics provider time:matters announced the opening of itsnew branch office in Belgium as part of its international expansion strategy. The new Belgian
office is located in Mechelen, halfway between Brussels and Antwerp.“Our new branch office in Belgium is staffed with local experts who are well familiar withtheir domestic market and the region’s special and express logistics needs,” emphasisedFranz-Joseph Miller, CEO of time:matters Holding.
The Belgium branch, which opened on September 1, is managed by logistics expert Peter Allardas country manager Belgium. He will be joined by Jan Beullens, Manager Customer Service &Operations, and Gavin Jones, Manager Sales & Marketing.
In Belgium, time:matters plans to expand its “special speed” solutions due to the greatdemand potential which the company sees in the attractive European logistics location. Thelogistics provider says that there is a demand for its transport solutions for extremelytime-critical shipments on the Belgian market mainly in the automotive, high-tech andpharmaceutical and life science industries.
Following the establishment of European branches in Switzerland and Austria, Poland and theNetherlands, time:matters is now represented in six European countries including the new site inBelgium and its headquarters in Germany. Additionally the company operates a branch office inSingapore which is responsible for the Asia-Pacific region.
