DHL Russia expands geographical coverage for time-definite services

DHL Russia is expanding the geographical coverage of its time-definite services “Domestic Express9:00” and “Domestic Express 12:00” by adding 10,000 new city pairs to the regions served within

Russia.

The extensive expansion of geographical coverage responds to the growing demands of Russiancustomers and increasing shipment volumes in the regions beyond Moscow and St. Petersburg, DHLRussia said.

The wide coverage of the two time-definite services is unmatched by any competitor in themarket, it claimed. The unique service ensures fast and reliable delivery of urgent shipment evento the remotest areas such as Nojabrsk in Siberia, the centre of oil and gas production, andNahodka, a port on the Pacific coast, the express operator said.

According to Natalia Bochkova, Head of Commercial at DHL Russia,  the company startedthe expansion of its geographical network for the “Express 9:00” and “Express 12:00” service aroundthree years ago but has expanded it substantially this year.

“The results we have achieved in terms of the expansion in 2008 reflect the intensive andeffective work of all our units, including products, operations, customer service and regionalstaff in particular,” she said.  “We’re proud to be the first company in Russia offering thisunique product range and coverage”, she added.
