DHL opens new service points in Russia

DHL Russia has announced the opening of two new service points in Moscow and one in thesouth-western city of Kazan to expand its service points network and strengthen its presence in the

Russian market.

The DHL network currently comprises over 500 cities in Russia. In 2007, DHL opened a total of 12service points across the country under plans to improve customer access to its products andservices.

All the DHL service points offer customers a full range of express products both within Russiaand abroad, DHL Russia said in a statement. They are equipped with the latest technologies to meetcustomer needs and the group’s international requirements.

“The new DHL offices are typically located in the downtown, which is very convenient forcustomers who can save a great deal of time and effort by shipping goods and correspondence rightfrom the centre of the business activities in their city. The expansion of the DHL service pointsnetwork is a clear example of the company’s sustained commitment to boost accessibility andavailability of DHL services”, said Natalia Bochkova, Head of Commercial DHL Russia.
