FedEx broadens online customs tariff information

FedEx said it has expanded its online customer information service regarding international customstariffs and other duties, including offering information on a paid-for, ad-hoc basis.



FedEx Trade Networks has launched its redesigned WorldTariff website providing complete dutyand tax information for 123 countries. The redesigned website includes more online duty and taxcontent, an improved look and feel, on-demand access, and simplified pricing.

In addition to annual subscription offerings, WorldTariff now enters the on-demand tradefacilitation content market by providing convenient access to duty and tax information without anannual commitment or minimum purchase requirement. The price for a one-off online query is US$7.

“WorldTariff strives to be the preferred duty and tax provider for both large and smallbusinesses—regardless of carrier or customs broker preference,” said Ed Clark, president and CEO ofFedEx Trade Networks. Customers include trading, legal and software firms as well as logistics andfreight companies.
