DHL Express and TNT have announced several managerial appointments during June.
DHL Express:
* Sukri Ardani is the new National Sales Manager for DHL Express, Indonesia. He has been withDHL since 1999 and was previously Country Global Account Manager (CGAM), Country DevelopmentManager and Sales Manager – Relationship. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing theNational Sales group.
* Nick Lim has been appointed China Trade Lane Manager for DHL UAE. He is a native Mandarinspeaker with more than four years of Asia experience within the logistics industry. He will supportthe development of the company’s traffic flows between China and the Middle East (UAE).
* Charles Wyley has been appointed National Gateway and Customs Manager for DHL ExpressPhilippines. In his new role, he will supervise the operations at DHL’s Gateway at the NAIA Complexin Pasay City and be responsible for DHL Express Philippines’ customs facilitation and processing.Charles Wyley has been with DHL for almost six years, and was previously Regional Customer Managerfor multi-national customers in emerging markets, which include Eastern Europe, Middle East, andAfrica.
TNT Express:
* Mohannad Khayyat has been appointed Country General Manager in Kuwait. He will beresponsible for developing TNT’s business in the emirate where new facilities for the Middle EastRoad Network are planned. Khayyat, who has held various senior level sales positions in theindustry for over a decade, takes up his new role following two and a half years as Area SalesManager within the logistics sector in Saudi Arabia.
* Holger Frühauf is the new manager of TNT’s largest location in Germany and third-largestworldwide, the road hub and depot at Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt. The 42-year-old, who joined thecompany in 1992 and has run depots since 1996, replaces Alexander Ferrier who became DirectorOperations Germany at the start of 2007.
