DPD Polska, formerly known as Masterlink Express, has introduced a new product called DPD ConsumerPremium targeted at the growing needs of business customers as well as individuals for online
logistics services due to the rapid development of e-business in Poland.DPD Consumer Premium was launched for the B2C market to improve the quality and efficiency ofdeliveries to individual consumers allowing them to determine the time and place of delivery.
The DPD Consumer Premium product links existing services with new available options such asCOD, goods return, direct delivery, delivery in time zones (12:00-15:00, 15:00-18:00, 18:00-21:00)for certain postal codes, recipient’s data verification, return of parcel and information per smsor e-mail.
“We have created a product which is a result of the needs and expectations on the market aswell as our operational capabilities. After a few months of testing, we have created an excellentonline and offline tool that can be implemented in call centers and e-shops on their websites. Itshow the flexibility of our couriers in terms of time and place”, said Rafal Nawloka, managingdirector of DPD Polska.
Masterlink Express recently completed its re-branding to DPD by adopting the legal name ofDPD Polska Ltd. This followed a year-long process of depot, fleet and uniform re-branding.
