DHL Russia has extended its portfolio of online tools to offer simplified shipment management forRussian importers of international goods.
The new Import Express Online service has been specially developed to further improvemanagement and visibility of international deliveries in real-time mode and further enhance thequality of the company’s import service, DHL Russia said in a statement.
Import Express Online is a web-based application which enables users to produce theirshipping documentation at the touch of a button, simplifies pick-up arrangements and providesdetailed track and trace information, in real time.
Import Express Online enables users to arrange transportation between two countries, withpayment made locally in Russia. The new online tool removes the need for users to share theiraccount information with third parties – ensuring users keep complete confidentiality of their DHLaccount numbers.
“In view of the requirements of a modern market, simplicity, security and flexibility ofoperations are the foremost criteria. DHL Import Express is an international door-to-door express delivery service for importshipments to Russia, with payment of shipment transportation costs in Russia in Russian roubles.Average delivery times are between 1-4 working days, with geographical coverage spanning 214countries worldwide.
