DHL Express has named Patrick Aguirregaviria its new head of courier services in France, reportingdirectly to chairman and managing director Stéphane Corthier.
The carrier is relaunching its courier operation in the country to optimise vehicle chargesand meet future challenges.
Patrick will be in charge of all production functions, marketing and client relations in themessaging area both abroad and France-wide.
DHL has 3,700 employees in the courier field and deals with 100,000 such shipments every dayin France for some 15,000 customers from 70 sites.
Patrick has been marketing director since 2006, developing the national and internationalexpress and courier markets and previously spent four years as France operations director on thecountry’s steering committee.
