Emirates Post has launched “Direct2Door”, a parcel and document service for South Asia operatedin collaboration with major local courier companies in the region. The product offers a three-day

express service and a deferred service with delivery within 10 days. Covering India, Pakistan,Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, the product is essentially targeted at Asian nationals living inthe UAE.

The new product, backed by a money-back guarantee and track-and-trace facility, offers two typesof services through all post offices and postal agencies in the UAE. The Direct2Door GuaranteedParcel offers delivery of personal packages of up to 30 kg in less than ten days. The Direct2DoorExpress service ensures delivery of documents and parcels in just three days. Emirates Post willrefund the parcel charges if the delivery is not done within the stipulated period.

Announcing the new service, Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post, said: “Theincrease in the number of expatriates from Asian countries has prompted us to launch thesevalue-added services. We have partnered with reputed courier companies in the five countries todeliver parcels or documents directly to homes or offices. We are confident thousands of UAEresidents will find this service useful, as we guarantee to refund the parcel charges if deliveryis delayed.”

To promote “Direct2Door”, Emirates Post has started an online draw with monthly cash prizes, andwill award customers points on an Emirates Post Privilege Card.
