TNT Express opens new French call centre

TNT Express has opened a new call centre at Tourcoing in northern France, creating 62 new jobs.The company already has call centres for France in Bordeaux, Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand.

Agents in the new centre will handle customer accounts nationwide, and support sales staff. TNTExpress France said the call centre staff were on permanent contracts.

“The TNT sales force will have 500 people by the end of January,” noted Eric Jacquemet,president of TNT Express France. “This is a key figure which demonstrates the determination of thecompany to play the card of being close to its 40,000 national clients.”
