DPD Belux hires ex-TNT and bpost execs as new bosses

DPD Belux (Belgium and Luxembourg) has appointed Silvio Mestdagh as CEO and former bpost parcels chief Frank Jahn as head of sales & marketing.

Mestdagh was formerly with TNT Express, most recently as General Manager Belux for the last six years. Jahn has worked for Kiala, the B2C parcels company bought by UPS, and more recently for bpost, where he headed the domestic parcels business.
 
Mestdagh commented that the dramatic growth of e-commerce is creating “enormous challenges and opportunities” on the Belgian market. “My team and I have the mission of expanding DPD Belux to become the reference for parcels distribution in Belgium and Luxembourg.”
