NZ Post is now handling international parcels faster and more securely following the full operational launch of its new Auckland Processing Centre.
The 30,000 sqm facility, which opened last April for domestic parcels, now houses operations of NZ Post, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and the New Zealand Customs Service, working together in the same location with modern, state-of-the-art technology.
Located at Wiri, the APC can process more than 30,000 parcels per hour when operating at peak capacity. It is the third new site to open under NZ Post’s NZ$200 million investment in parcel processing infrastructure, following the opening of the Wellington Super Depot and upgrade of the Southern Operations Centre in 2022. Â
