FedEx strengthens Liège-Memphis air route

FedEx is strengthening its transatlantic cargo operations with the expansion of its non-stop air freight service between Liège, Belgium, and Memphis, US, as part of the carrier’s global strategy to redesign its air network to improve density and utilization.

As of April 28, the frequency of FedEx flights on the Liège–Memphis route increased from five to eight per week. The additional flights will be operated using Boeing 777 freighters, each capable of carrying up to 150,000 lbs of cargo.
