bpost targets parcel fraud with Secure Delivery

Postal operator bpost has become the first parcel delivery firm in Belgium to launch a new secure last mile delivery tool, which aims to eliminate the rising challenge of parcel delivery fraud in the country.

With bpost, webshops can now opt for “Secure Delivery.” With this service, parcels are only handed over to customers when the recipient can provide a unique six-digit code or a corresponding QR code on the doorstep.
