DPD has opened a large regional hub in central Poland to increase its operational capacity in response to e-commerce growth and rising customer demand for out-of-home deliveries.

Located in the Segro Logistics Park Stryków, the Drobnicowy hub (HDR) at Swędów, near Lodz, has capacity to handle more than 35,000 packages per hour and will employ up to 350 people. The BREEAM certified 18,000m² hub, with 16,000 m² of warehouse space and 1,400 m² of office space, complements the company’s nearby facility in Lućmierz.
