DHL Express opens $32m Chicago service centre

DHL Express is investing $32 million to expand its operational capacity in the Chicago region for international and US domestic shipments, including faster deliveries in the metropolitan area.

The company has relocated its service center to a new, state-of-the-art facility in McCook, Illinois. The 100,000-sq. ft. center — more than twice the size of the previous location —represents a $32 million investment, including capital expenditures and a 10-year lease.
