German-based night delivery company Night Star Express will increase its prices by an average of 4.9% next year in response to market changes and the effects of the corona virus pandemic.
Due to different regional cost structures, price increases may differ in certain regions of Germany, the company stressed. The adjustments will be implemented in the first half of 2021.
Night Star Express managing director Matthias Hohmann explained that the company aims to continuously improve its quality in order to better meet customer needs.
"This price adjustment enables us to further develop our infrastructure and also further improve our service and transport quality in order to guarantee first-class customer solutions,” he said.
At the same time, Night Star Express is doing everything it can to adequately respond to the special challenges resulting from the pandemic.
“The negative development of the entire economy with its far-reaching effects has certainly not left us unscathed. Many of our customers come from the automotive industry but other industries are also struggling with losses,” he continued.
“Our ultimate goal is to continue to protect our employees and to get them well through this time. This requires extensive hygiene measures and additional deployment of staff to avoid bottlenecks,” Hohmann concluded.
