PostNord is entering into a partnership with Tradera to make it easier for the online marketplace’s customers to send and receive parcels through Postnord.
Tradera, one of Sweden’s largest e-retailers in terms of the number of packages sent through their marketplace, will be able to provide sellers with easy access to PostNord’s online freight services in future.
The collaboration will give customers a straightforward purchase option for PostNord services directly via Tradera’s interface. This is expected to make it easier for the seller to get his shipment to the buyer. After entering order information directly on Tradera, the seller can go to the nearest PostNord outlet to print the consignment note and send the package.
The shipment information will then no longer have to be put in by the seller manually, as tracking will be automatically loaded into the freight order on Tradera. As both seller and buyer have accounts on Tradera, they will be able to follow the shipment in Tradera’s interface.
Stefan Öberg, CEO of Tradera, thanked PostNord for the cooperation as well as them enabling the shopping site to offer a broader range of delivery options and a better overall experience for customers.
Pontus Brohult, head of PostNord’s Customer Portal, said online customers increasingly wanted an option to buy shipping directly in the buying process. So the collaboration with Tradera is strategically important for PostNord, he said.
