The German express operator GO! is introducing a new disposable packaging solution “GO! COOL” for products in the temperature range of 2-8°C, developed by the certified pharmaceutical wholesaler Teccom in cooperation with the packaging specialist ECOCOOL.
With the new packaging, GO! is further expanding its range of express and logistics solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. The GDP-capable packaging for temperature sensitive products was previously tested in the GO! system for several years and validated exclusively for transportation by GO! in the temperature range of 2-8°C.
Thanks to winter and summer configuration, GO! COOL can be deployed all year round and independently of the outside temperatures. Compliance with the temperature range is guaranteed for 24 hours and can be documented by temperature loggers, as an option. The delivery is made via Overnight-Express, usually already on the next day before 10 am.

"The qualified packaging solution developed by Teccom and our validated transport service are perfectly matched. We offer our customers a unique complete solution with an optimal cost-benefit ratio for temperature-sensitive products to simplify their work flow," Nolte added.
Another advantage for customers is that the disposable packaging consists of an automatic folding box, which is equipped with a high-quality insulating layer as well as foam bricks (cooling elements). It can be assembled quickly and easily right before use. This enables to deliver the packaging via Europe pallets and space-saving storage of very large quantities. The components of the environmentally certified packaging can be easily disposed via the household garbage.
The disposable packaging solution is available in four control variables, all of which are qualified for the temperature range of 2-8°C. In addition, GO! also offers shipping solutions in the temperature range of 15- 25°C (ambient).
Founded as a consortium of 15 regional courier and express operators, GO! General Overnight has 1,400 employees, over 3,000 couriers and more than 100 GO! stations in Germany and Europe with a global network of partners. In addition to the central hub in Niederaula, it has three regional hubs in Hannover, Bonn and Heilbronn. The express operator serves over 77,000 customers.
