Christian Knoblich succeeds Martina Supper as head of EURODIS

Christian Knoblich

Christian Knoblich, formerly with trans-o-flex, has taken over management of the European combined freight network EURODIS from Martina Supper, who has moved back to Austrian Post after two years in the job.

Knoblich (47) has more than 20 years of experience from distribution, logistics, transportation and services. In 2014 he was appointed as member of Board of Directors at trans-o-flex, the German member of the EURODIS network, and at the same time to represent trans-o-flex in the Supervisory Board of EURODIS.

In connection with Knoblich’s new appointment, trans-o-flex has also re-organised the responsibilities within its Board of Directors. Frank Iden, the company’s CEO, will take over the responsibility for Sales and Marketing and, in his capacity as member of the Advisory Board, also represent the interests of trans-o-flex vis-à-vis EURODIS GmbH and contribute to the further development of the international combi-freight network. As before Wolfgang Weber will be in charge of Operations and Michael Stadlmann will be responsible for the Finance area.

Peter Umundum, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EURODIS, commented: “We congratulate Martina Supper for her achievements and thank her for the collaboration. We are pleased that Christian Knoblich takes over the management of EURODIS and contributes his profound experience to the network.”

Covering 35 European countries, the EURODIS members provide transportation and delivery from shipments from 1kg parcels to 800kg pallets. Key members and shareholders include Austrian Post, Germany’s trans-o-flex, UK Mail, Italy’s SDA, PostNL and Spain’s Redur.
