Herbert Vongpusanachai heads DHL Express Hong Kong

Herbert Vongpusanachai has been appointed Managing Director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau to succeed Ken Lee, the new CEO, DHL Express Asia Pacific.

Mr. Vongpusanachai brings a wealth of experience in the regional express delivery business, having held his previous position as Managing Director of DHL Express Singapore for seven years. Since 2008, under his leadership, the company has achieved strong business growth with positive revenue performance, as well as garnered numerous external awards and recognitions for excellence in customer service, corporate responsibility and sustainability, and more.

Mr. Vongpusanachai joined DHL Express in 2003 as Country Manager of DHL Express Thailand. In 2007, his portfolio expanded when he was appointed Managing Director, Thailand and Indochina Region. He played an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth transition of the DHL Express Bangkok Hub to its current location at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport. During his tenure, he oversaw more than 30 facilities and 30,000 customers and successfully brought robust growth in both business volume and profitability in emerging markets including Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
